Circuit breaker keeps tripping
A licensed electrician has to find the cause. We do not explain how to work inside the consumer unit. Send a photo of it closed.
What it usually is
- One circuit is overloaded.
- An appliance is faulting.
- The fault is in the circuit, not the appliance.
What you can safely do now
- Stop using the circuit that trips.
- Unplug appliances on that circuit if you can do it with dry hands.
- If the consumer unit is wet, do not touch it: leave and call 112.
When it's urgent
It is urgent if you smell burning, the consumer unit is hot, or the power stays off. Do not keep trying to switch it back on.
Typical fixed price
The price is confirmed in the app, from your photo.
Encertum uses an AI assistant to understand your problem. It suggests a likely fault and price; a licensed technician confirms on site. You can talk to a person at any time.
